I was reminded of this today

"See how this applies in your present personal life.  Pick out the person you feel loves you the most, and you will find that is the person you feel knows you the best.  It is a person who sees you in a double thread manner, one who is aware of your humanity and its limitations but who constantly relates it to you divine potential as well.  you don't fee you are really loved by someone who totally ignores your humanity–you are always afraid of what he will think when he sees your clay feet.  Also you don't feel loved by anyone who sees only your humanity because you know you are also divine and perfect as well.  the person who lives you the best is the person who knows you fully, understands the relative nature of things, and therefore doesn't judge you.  You feel that those who love you know you, but you also feel that if anyone would take  the time to really know you, he, too, would love you"
