According to a Canadian researcher, individuals who use antidepressants are much more likely to suffer relapses of major depression than those who use no medication at all.

What is interesting is that the study shows that that those individuals who have not taken antidepressant medications have a 25% risk of a relapse. while those who have taken and gone of antidepressant medications have a 42% risk of relapse.
